"Our priority is to support industrialists and help them overcome the existing difficulties, to boost Tunisian industrial exports," he told journalists.

He said he was "impressed" by the diversity of the offer on display at the fair, saying that the security equipment, technology and services sector offers significant export potential.

Organized jointly by the National Trade Union Chamber of Electronic Security Companies and the Exhibition Center (CTF EXPO), the “SENA 2020” presents the latest innovations in urban security that will help fight crime, theft and terrorism and smuggling.

200 Tunisian and foreign exhibitors (Germany, France, Great Britain, United States, Turkey ...) take part in this fair and offer security technologies intended for airports, ports and State institutions (ministries ...).

For this year, the Show is marked by the participation of 45 African delegations representing Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali and Egypt, said Sami Chamekh, director general of the Parc des expositions and Kram congresses.

In Tunisia, nearly 2,500 companies operate in electronic security and employ more than 20,000 people. The turnover of the sector is estimated at 600 million dinars per year.
